It's a desperate attempt to distract Atem from any subroutine running in the back of his mind, so as a result, it's as active as Ryou's been kissing him so far. This time his hand doesn't just explore the snakes at mid-level, his fingers delve in further, tracing the spots between their bodies connecting at Atem's scalp. He's careful, of course--his claws are sharp and he can't really trim them, nor are the bandages covering his fingertips--but he's trying to emulate a sensation that he himself enjoys, which is the sensation of something tickling in his hair.
