[Something in Atem...it relaxes, at the sight. At the time Ryou's taking, at the slow, thrilled break of the finger. Something in Atem that's been tense since Felfri -- since before, months before, maybe since the start of the year -- finally, finally calms.
He knows, distantly, that Ryou doesn't like this part of himself. But it's a part of himself he has to live with...and letting it out, satisfying it, is better than penning it in for months and months, leaving them both to stew in misery.
Maybe after Halloween, Atem will try again to do something about the damn heart. It seems like it's time.]

[And, feeling lighter in his heart than he has in ages, Atem goes back toward the bathroom. Tybolt is sitting still, but is looking up at Ryou, clearly hoping for treats. Atem pauses, though, once again, in the doorway.]

[And, with that, he'll strip out of his bloody clothes and wash all of the gore and grime down the drain in the end of their apartment's broad, nice bathtub.]
