It's so different from the way Atem imagined the relationship, such as it was, between the two of them that it feels like the world's gone topsy-turvy on its axis, changing its tilt completely.
He...sort of just stares, for a second or two.
Normally, in the world the way it was on its old axis, Atem would not have thought it was best. He'd want to deal with each of them individually, to minimize the blow to their feelings, if there was one. He hasn't even gotten an answer from Ryou about whether this is something he's open to, or not...he doesn't know how this is going to go.]
