[You know what, this is fine. Ryou just...drops down to the floor as gently as he can, which is slightly more nimble than whatever the Ring-Spirit did, but only just. He's clearly having problems with hovering. Which is stupid, he's a shade?! This is the only time he needs his powers, and they're acting up.

At the very least, most of his attention is drawn to the Ring-Spirit, who really does look worse for wear. Ryou hadn't realized...he was missing his talons. No wonder he wanted to fly around rather than walk, since it looks like he'd taken off more than the talons.
