Sometime between when Atem leaves and the phone call he makes, Ryou just lets out an aggravated groan at himself. What the hell had he planned to do if he pulled Atem down. Kiss him? As if he had any right. As if they'd even talked about anything at all regarding the matter.

For now, he decides that getting into a sitting position is probably a good idea.
And by the time Atem shows back up with the water, he's about halfway there, trying to use the unburned part of his arm to lift himself up and flagging a bit because even though it's not on the burn, it's stretching the skin. So...Atem's help is appreciated, and once he's finally settled properly, he sighs in relief.
Then immediately begins to overanalyze the close contact. Haha...Atem's arm had just gone RIGHT around his waist, hadn't it? Eugh no. He needs to keep it together, because if this is how he feels pre-medication, then actually being medicated might just lead to some...interesting conversation.]
