[Ryou just reads all of that, and kind of chuckles quietly to himself because Atem really, really wants to bring this lion home, doesn't he? He'd basically just written a dissertation on why the lion cub--Tybolt, rather--should come home.

He can appreciate that. He can also appreciate the fact that when it comes to animals, Atem is kind of adorable. He'd been compromised by Grand Bois and, obliquely, by Big Sven. Now he wants to foster a baby lion.

This is one of many, many reasons why Ryou's into Atem. Just saying.]

I'm on board with it. :) It looks as if he's attempting to assert himself anyway, so if he's willing to try and take control of your laptop, I think he'll survive here pretty well.

We might need a bigger refrigerator though. That's wholly dependent on how much he eats.

[Not all animals. Definitely not all animals. But big cats? Big lazy cats? Big lazy cats where holding them feels nostalgic, and calming, and they bump their little heads under his chin like they don't have anything better to do but write their little names in scent on his face? Gah.

He's typing with Tybolt scooped in one arm over his shoulder. The lion is pawing lazily at the back of his hair.]

I can't wait to see him. :) Even if it's temporary, having a pet might be nice.

[If you think he didn't immediately accept your image Atem, then you just don't know who you're dealing with.

Ryou immediately feels as if he's been targeted for destruction. How can he ever have said no? Look at that lion--even though there are not enough pixels to get an idea that is a BABY LION and he wants to PET IT.

Responsible animal care? No. Pet lion.

He has to respond to this somehow. What does he even say?!]

[He wasn't going to show Ryou Tybolt until Ryou agreed. He wanted Ryou to make the decision with a clear head. Now, though, all bets are off.]

He's really soft. His ears especially! He can't be released, so as long as you're careful, it's okay to pet him.

Don't let him lick you, though...apparently, lion tongues hurt! I'm going to ask Giorno if he knows anything about keeping big cat cubs...he seems to know a lot of things about animals, and I'd rather do that than buy a whole book on lion care from Mana.

I'm sure there's something in the local bookstore about lions in general, but either way, any advisement is welcome!

I wouldn't want to make Tybolt's time here unpleasant. It's not just about petting, after all.

[But. He does want to pet Tybolt right now. This isn't even a creepy thing for him to like, and yet here he is, wanting to take care of a lion and scratch behind its ears.]
