[Atem is not a great detective by any stretch of the imagination. He's sort of the World's Okayest Detective. He picks up on a lot of things, when he pays attention, but sometimes there are things he misses.

Like the fact that Ryou's not just not-repulsed, until right now.

Oh. That's interesting. He'll -- hm. They'll have to decide what to do about that, won't they...? But, they can navigate that later. Atem's not quite ready to jump into a new form in an old relationship vagina-first. He needs some time to get used to the rest of it!

So, though a flush rises in his own cheeks, he lets out a heh! and folds his arms across his (wow, it's really firm, it hasn't been like this since he was a naga) stomach.]

[With a carefree little wave, and an amused swish of his bovine tail, he heads out of Ryou's room, and into his own, to find something that fits well enough to keep Ryou from staring.]

[Ryou calls it out as Atem's leaving, then shakes his head and runs a hand down his own face before muttering quietly to himself:]

Ugh. "Thank you?" For goodness' sake, why would I say that?

[He flops back onto the bed for a moment, trying to figure out why exactly he had to make that weird. Atem didn't seem to find it weird! Only him then?

...Still. He's not bothered by Atem's body like that, just a bit taken aback. He's pretty sure he'll have to square with that eventually, especially considering what they'd gotten up to after coming back from the wasteland.

After a few more seconds, he sighs, gets to his feet, and works on dressing himself, because if Atem can't be naked, neither can he. That's not fair to Atem, is it? After throwing on a basic outfit, he starts working on detangling his hair and setting it right. He's still going with the new haircut, even as a shade, and he's pretty pleased with the fact that the side-buzz had cut down substantially on his brushing routine.
